I couldn’t take it anymore. On Saturday I laced up my shoes and hit the trail. Not that there was much running going on but I needed to get back to my peaceful place since I am in full craziness at the moment preparing for my second race director gig. I took the short loop which only climbs about half-way up the ridge, to the boulder field, and then back down. I love getting out on the trails early in the morning when no one else is around. It’s so quiet except for the chipmunks and birds, and it was exactly what I needed. I just wish this surgery was tomorrow. I have another 9 days to go and hopefully I can tolerate this pain without going completely nuts on my family.
I have so patient over the past 10 months. Getting back out on the trails is making me anxious to run again.
Looks like you have somethings to look forward to. Your blog looks totally different since I was last here.
